Overview
Screw conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment without flexible traction components, commonly known as auger, used for short-distance conveying of materials, using the rotation of spiral blades (or paddles) to push materials to move along the trough to complete the level Transport tasks.
The auger conveyor is widely used in various industries, such as sawdust, feed, chemical, grain and other industries. It is suitable for horizontal transportation of powder, granular and small lump materials, such as wood chips, pellet feed, corn, soybean meal, etc., and the material temperature is less than 200 ℃, it is not suitable for conveying easily deteriorated, viscous, and easily agglomerated materials.

1. Large carrying capacity, reliable operation, safety, convenient maintenance, and low operating cost;
2. Simple and compact structure, strong adaptability, convenient installation and maintenance, and long life;
3. The whole machine is small in size and high in speed, ensuring fast and uniform delivery;
4. Low noise, strong adaptability, flexible layout of inlet and outlet positions;
5. Good sealing performance, the ends are connected by flanges to form a whole, with good rigidity;
6. The head and tail bearing seats are outside the shell, and all bearings adopt multi-layer sealing and matching sealing technology, and the bearing has a long service life.
7. Due to the friction of the material on the screw and the trough and the stirring of the material, the unit power consumption is large, and it is easy to cause the material to be broken. Generally, it cannot be used to transport fragile pellets.
8. The blades and troughs wear quickly, and the maintenance of the casing and the replacement of the blades are more frequent;
9. Sensitive to overload, uneven feeding, easy to cause blockage;
10. It is not suitable to transport materials with a lot of fibers (large debris with more straws and rope ends). It is easy to be entangled on the spiral blades during the transportation process, which will reduce the efficiency and even cause blockage.
11. Due to the rigidity requirements of the screw, the screw conveyor is not suitable for long-distance transportation, generally below 15m; if it exceeds 15m, it is necessary to consider using a scraper conveyor instead.
working principle
When the material is added to the fixed tank, due to the gravity of the material and the friction between the tank and the tank, the material accumulated in the lower part of the tank does not rotate with the spiral body, but only moves forward under the push of the rotating spiral blade, like The non-rotating nut moves in translation with the rotating screw to achieve the purpose of conveying materials.
